Royal Decree No. (A/472) dated 12/29/1440 AH, corresponding to August 30, 2019 was issued establishing the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and transferring competencies, tasks and responsibilities related to the industrial and mineral resources sectors to it. Provided that the ministry begins its duties as of 1/1/2020 AD.

This service allows the holder of a license (exploration or exploitation) to transfer their license to another eligible investor. This process is overseen by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and technical standards.
